We invite all women,

grandmothers,

children and friends

to our women’s global

pilgrimage to India,

to discuss with the first

woman president of India

how we together can

insure that no one

in the world goes to bed

hungry, has a bed to sleep

in, has medicine, an

education and the birthright

to live a fruitful life of

leaning, joy and peace.

Our hope is to establish a

women’s peace parliament

head-quartered in India to

find a way to peace… in a

peaceful way.

It reminded me of our escape from the Nazis, running to the Swiss border
and my father, about to throw me over the barbed wire fence, looked up
to the heavens and said “save my daughter and she will always serve you.”
I knew in my heart, my destiny had been chosen. When I saw the Statue of Liberty,
I felt the gift of freedom and being safe for the first time in my life.
